Assembly:
1. Conductor copper, round-shaped, area range of 1.0 to 4.0 mm2, according to class 3, area range of 6 to 400 mm2, according to class 2.
2. Isolator its allowed to apply synthetic films around the conductors (under the insulation) of cables
3. Insulation insulating rubber.
4. Twisting Insulated conductors of cables are twisted to form a cable using concentric layers in different directions. It is allowed to twist insulated conductors in concentric layers in one
direction. Insulated conductors of two conductor cables of up to and including 4 mm2 of area can be positioned in parallel. When cabling insulated conductors it is allowed to use a rubber cord as a
filler.
5. Isolator a single synthetic film is applied over the insulation of single conductor cables or an outer layer of insulated conductors of cable. It is allowed to apply a synthetic film
longitudinally. Cables can be made without taping.
6. Sheath - oil resistant flameretardant rubber.
7. Screen is applied over the sheath in the form of braiding with a minimum density of 80% of maximum 0.3 mm diameter copper wires tinned with tin & lead solder with a minimum tin content 40%
Application:
KNRE vessel cables are intended for use in power and lighting networks, control circuits, alarm units and interconnections rated for alternate current voltages of up to 690 V at frequencies of up
to 400 Hz or 1000 V DC. They are designed for fixed laying applications indoors and on the open deck provided that they are protected against solar radiation effects including those of radial
hydrostatic pressure of up to 1.99 MPa (20 kgs/cm2).
