TMA is Dual duplex to allow on TMA one transmission cable for both Tx and Rx. LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) in the Rx path is Balanced type. It contains alarm circuit to check LNA status. To compensate cable loss from antenna to BTS, TMA exhibits low NF (Noise Figure) and high IP3 (3rd Order Intercept Point).
