Tau Corten porcelain tile

Corten, part of the Metallica collection of ceramic tile from Tau Ceramica. Corten's look is inspired by corten steel, the predominant metal alloy in modern sculpture. The tile is available in multiple sizes, and is designed to incorporate ceramics into the realm of creative architecture.

The reactivity of the glaze along with the sophisticated glaze application method result in a tile that has huge natural variation making it truly unique.

Corten is made using a porcelain body oxide tinted to co-ordinate with the glaze. It uses Taus unique silica-alumina metal glaze technology first used in the Alpax range. The combination of the unique metal glaze, tinted porcelain body (available in 30x30, 30x60, 60x60, 60x120cm) and innovative roto colour screens certainly make Tau Corten the original.
