Gravity Louver Damper also known as Auto shutter is an arrangement provided at the delivery side of the Axial Fan and remain open when the Fan is switched on and remain closed when the Fan is switched off. This allows to use less number of Fans in a multiple Fan system design without short circuit. Further when a Motor trips and hence the Fan is not able to run the short circuit is prevented.
