The MultiCom Access IV can be upgraded to the MultiCom Backup IV through its two spare serial leased line interfaces. It is rack-mountable and comes complete with an Ethernet port and four ISDN basic-rate interfaces.
With its high level security and optional 128 bit encryption it provides a very secure and cost effective solution for ISDN Internet access.
It acts as a multiprotocol router and bridge for remote network access, routing TCP/IP while bridging other protocols.
The MultiCom Access IV provides secure ISDN connectivity for remote workgroups and remote individual users, up to eight remote locations can be served simultaneously.
