Broker Administration Systems software

BB&D developed a broker trading platform for UK based Acturis. Acturis is a partnership involving leading brokers, insurers, technology experts and a blue chip management team, formed to revolutionise the commercial lines insurance industry. The system, consisting of several key connected components, uses Internet connectivity and innovative technologies to provide brokers with the tools to improve efficiency. BB&D designed the architecture for the broker trading platform, developed the application and did integration into supporting systems like the Flexi Accounting system. All development was done remotely, in South Africa.

BB&D delivered the system on time, enabling Acturis to launch its revolutionary broker back office system on 1st July 2002, the promised delivery date.
