The Central Merchandising system programs and the Stores BO system programs are resident on the same computer. Access to the relevant systems is managed via password control.
A typical business environment with multiple stores.
The Central Merchandising programs are not accessible in the Stores BO system and the Stores BO programs are not accessible in the Central Merchandising system.
Communication between the Central Merchandising System and the Store Management System is managed via the Internet.
Microsoft?s PEER-TO-PEER TCP/IP Network Manager has been deployed as the network protocol.
The Company is geared to support the Product ?On site? as well as ?Remotely? via remote telephone links using ?PC ANYWHERE? which is for the user?s account. It is envisaged that 85% of the support will be verbally over the telephone, 10% via remote telephone links and only 5% on site support.
The Company offers extensive training on the Product at a nominal cost to the user. Due to the simplicity of the products operation no additional training for Windows will be required.
?TINA? has been developed on a ? WINDOWS? platform and will operate on Windows 2000, NT and XP. The system allows the operator to use the ?Mouse? pad and/or the ?Up? and ?Down? arrow keys together with the ?Enter? key, whichever is more suitable to the operator.
?TINA? has been developed in DELPHI, a ?Rapid Application Development? programming tool for Windows. Delphi generates royalty-free, fast, efficient executables at no cost to the end user. Using the ?Borland Database Engine?, Delphi interacts directly with the ?Paradox Database? used in ?TINA?. However, any ODBC compliant Database can be used to interact with TINA e.g. Informix, Oracle, DBase?, Interbase, etc.
The Company has developed a comprehensive software package called ?TINA?, incorporating Central Merchandising System, Stores Operating System and Point-Of-Sale for the Cash & Carry and Retail trade in the ?FMCG? industry. In comparison to other products available on the open market, "TINA" incorporates features only available on "in-house corporate products". Comprehensive and Informative "Management Reports" are key to "TINA's" advantage over other products. Extensive deployment of "Drop-down" lists and "Pop-Up" menus makes "TINA" simple to operate and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of the Paradox Database.
