The 4-step planetary gears with spur gear intermediate sub-unit are driven by two dc disk motors and are equipped with a brake, safety coupling hand drive, qil compensator tank and heating. The output torque is transmitted either by means of an integrated pinion or an internally geared sleeve shaft.
Two sets of gears are mounted w/o backlash opposite each other on a gear ring, drive the antenna in azimut & elevation direction
