Cartridge mechanical seals combine all components of mechanical seals such as moving rings, stationary rings, springs, and auxiliary devices. The opposite is true for non-containerized ones.

Cartridge mechanical seals come with a sleeve and a mechanical seal gland; non-cartridge mechanical seals only have moving and stationary rings. The cartridge structure is to assemble all the components in the mechanical seal components together, and they can be assembled and disassembled when necessary. The installation error rate of non-cartridge mechanical seals is higher than that of cartridge mechanical seals, so the use of cartridge mechanical seal structures can greatly reduce the failure rate of mechanical seals. Cartridge mechanical seal is easy to install, just tighten the bolts.
