1. You need to stop the pump first, and then loosen the four bolts that compress the bearing assembly.

2. There is an adjusting bolt under the bearing assembly. Turn the nut on the adjusting bolt to move the bearing assembly forward, and at the same time turn the shaft by hand in the direction of pump rotation until the impeller rubs against the front sheath.

3. In the same way, move the bearing assembly backward to make the impeller contact the rear sheath.

4. Steps 2 and 3 are to measure the contact distance of the bearing assembly moving forward and backward. Take half of this distance as the correct gap between the impeller and the front and rear sheaths.

5. Then use the adjusting bolt to adjust the position of the bearing assembly to ensure the correct gap value between the impeller and the front and rear sheaths.

6. Finally tighten the four bolts that hold down the bearing assembly.
