ASME SA588 corrosion resistant steel plates are low alloy high strength structural steel. ASME SA588 steel grades are SA588 grade A, SA588 grade B, SA588 grade C, SA588 grade K. They are also shorten as SA588 gr A, SA588 gr B, SA588 gr C, SA588 gr K respectively. ASME SA588 corrosion resistant steel plates are mainly for welded, riveted, or bolted construction. They are intended primarily for use in welded bridges and buildings where savings in weight or added durability are important.
