Fairtrade Tea

This tea is of a green label standard, is black in leaf and has good colour flavour and pungency. The Kibena tea estate is in the Iringa district of southern Tanzania. Kibena is a modern plantation and tea factory. It was set up by the Commonwealth Development Co-operation and provides development in a disadvantaged area. Kibena workers, in conjunction with the company management, agree how the Fairtrade premium will be spent.

The black tea in our Fairtrade product is produced in the Kibena Tea Estate.
