snack (Saro Palappam)

Saro Palappam, an ethnic Kerala delicacy, enchants every one with its rare taste. The Palappam is made from a bater formed by grinding rice and coconut milk. This bater is then cooked in a very unique frying pan. The thick soft center of each Palappam thins out to form a crisp and thin outer border, making it tasty as well as unique. Palappam has just a hint of sweetness in it and goes well with any vegetarian or non-vegetarian dish of your choice. This is a very traditional dish in Kerala prepared especially by the Christian families of Kerala.
