One bite and you will know it's different. The crust of a McAroon isn't hard or brittle, it's slightly toasty and crunchy. The interior is a moist mound of coconut with slivered almonds and perhaps some chocolate chips. And the whole thing is drizzled with chocolate, or (in the case of our Dipped McAroon) dipped in milk chocolate and drizzled with white almond frosting.No, this isn't your typical macaroon?
