Bangin' Blueberry Pesto

This is my Get Nostalgic Pesto; every time I take that first bite, it brings me back to the Fall, at Brookfield Orchards in MA, having hot pie with a big 'ol hunk of cheese; no thin slices back then!!!

I love this flavor tossed with wheat penne pasta and thin chicken strips, garnished with shredded asiago cheese or the Blueberry Pesto itself, baked into corn muffin mix, and you got it, garnished with a bit more asiago cheese!!!

Have you ever had a warm piece of Blueberry Pie with a thin slice of asiago cheese? Need I say more...ok, so no crust here folks; the tartness of the Blueberries really comes through, accented by the nutmeg, basil, and asiago cheese.
