seaweed

From February to May we are harvesting seaweed from the unpolluted waters of China's Dalian coastal region using traditional Japanese harvesting and processing techniques. Our farmers cut off the stems and stock from the seaweed and then trim the product to a uniform 5-6 cm length. The seaweed is then cleaned and passed through a hot airing process and immediately frozen at -18C for freshness. All of our seaweed harvesters are registered with CIQ China.

Shiki brand's chukka wakame (seasoned seaweed salad) offers a uniquely refreshing and crunchy taste, and is great as an appetizer or simply garnish with any desired entree. As a natural sea product from the East, it is rich in fiber and minerals and is a "must have" for all our Sushi lovers out there. Try it and see for yourself!
