Marine Sewage Comminuting and Disinfecting Holding Tank Series

The holding tank has been installed cutting pump low-level-stop and high-level-alarm.

The holding tank is used for storage of raw sewage or remaining solid sludge disposed by the treatment plant.When it stores raw sewage, a certain amount of chloride can be added into the sewage.When the sewage reaches specified level,the cutting pump is started to convert solid sludge into small particle sludge by circulating repeatedly.The sludge can be transported to the reception facilities with the shore connection or it can be discharged overboard when the ship navigates in the non-restricted areas.

The holding tank has the function of dosing disinfecting,sludge cutting,inner flushing and discharging the treated sludge to go overboard,open sea or shore connection.

This Holding tank also can be a sewage comminuting and disinfecting system regulated by Annex IV ofMARPOL73/78,for the temporary storage of sewage when the ship is less than 3 nautical miles from the neareast land,or transfer to a sewage treatment plant.
