A rake arm is provided to compress the sludge. A sludge removal mechanism also can be provided with the Clariflocculator for effective sludge removal.

Trivikram Clariflocculator unit is a combination of both flocculation and clarification in a single unit. This unit has concentric circular compartments. The inner most compartment is the flocculation chamber and the outer compartment is the clarifier. The water after flash mixing enters the inner most compartment where it is flocculated by means of paddles. The agglomerated water enters the clarifying zones for effective settling of suspended solids.
