Trivikram Softner is designed to remove hardness in the water that contributes for scale formation. A strong acid cat ion resin in sodium form is used for absorbing the hardness. When the resin is exhausted it is regenerated by sodium chloride solutions. This cycle is repeated to produce soft water.
