Roof Guardian Technologies (RGT) RG-12 No
Stain Primer is a copolymer sealant formulated to
prevent the staining and degradation of elastomeric
surface coatings when applied over RG-15 No
Slope Resurfacing Membrane over coal tar pitch.
Basic Use
Required over smooth surfaced, mineral surfaced
or gravel surfaced coal tar pitch roofing systems
with RG-15 No Slope Resurfacing Membrane first
applied and prior to the application of white (or
colored) elastomeric roof coatings, to prevent
staining of the surface coating by the migration of
aromatic oils. It can also be used over asphalt BUR
and modified bitumen membranes as a stain
blocker to the surface coating.
Limitations
Do not apply if temperatures are expected to drop
below 50
