Causticised Lignite

DESCRIPTION SRI-CL is a selected lignite material which has been modified with caustic soda, dried and ground to a fine particle size in order to enhance its dispersion in the mud system. APPLICATIONSRI-CL is highly soluble in normal pH muds. It is stable at high temperatures and has good tolerance for soluble contaminants. SN-CL is a versatile product. It can be used as a deflocculant in fresh water muds and as an emulsifier in sea water drilling fluid. It complements other thinners, such as lignosulfonates and reduces the need for other filtration control agents.
