SR. NO. TECHN ICAL SPECIFICATIONS :- Thread Compound API MOD is suitable as a thread compound is suitable for casing, tubing and line pipe joints, operating under pressure. It may be applied with the help of a brush in hot or cold weather. It is not recommended for use on shouldered connections on tool joints, drill collars or rock bits. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS : Thread Compound API MOD is a high performance thread dope, conforming to specifications laid out in API Bulletin 5A3. This is a Special grease base which is highly resistant to water, water absoprtion and water washout properties. This compound provides optimum lubrication to prevent galling in threaded connections during make-up. It does not thin down at high temperature and has no tendency to undergo disintegration or volumetrric changes at temperature upto 145C. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
