DOOBON's PN-100 (sodium stearate) is used as a lubricant for dry drawing of chemically cleaned carbon steels.
Since PN-100 is soluble in water, it can be easily removed from the wire surfaces, thereby making further applications of plating or galvanishing easier.
Especially, DOOBON's PN-100 has a cleansing ability which its molecules attach readily to both polar molecules and non-polar molecules. The long hydrocarbon chain are non-polar repelled by water and the salt end molecules ionic water soluble.
