To lubricate your scissors, add a drop or two to the pivot, then open and close the blades a couple of times to work it in. Your scissors will now move more freely than ever before. To clean your scissors, put a few drops along one blade and rub with a soft cloth. Repeat the process on the next blade. Excessive adhesive buildup may require more than one application and cleaning. After you have cleaned your scissors for the first time the remaining lubricant will work to resist excessive buildup of adhesive. Clean your scissors often if you are cutting through adhesive. |
