The Orion OS100 UV Sensor is sensitive to UVA, UVB and UVC but completely blind to visible light.
The device is available in a miniature surface mount package or TO18 metal can package suitable for rugged environments. Typical application areas are UV Index meters, UV meters, UV sterilization
systems and watches / pedometers with UV Index functions. The device is available with tight output tolerances which enables the designer to dispense with the calibration normally required at final
assembly of the finished product.
