These clamp-type alternating current sensors are current transformers that provide non-contact detection of alternating current.A dividable core allows mounting in existing circuits without interrupting power supply.The rated current range is 50 to 250 A. Also available are voltage output types (average and effective values) in addition to commonly-used current output types. Features The core is easily divided in a single operation for quick mounting and removal. A small relative error and phase difference enable high-accuracy detection. (Ideal for power measurement) Isolates the circuit of the target current from the output circuit. Provides built-in output protection. Small, lightweight and highly reliable in a simple construction Applications Energy conservation management systems, power measuring circuits Distribution board branch current detection Current supply checking for devices Replacement of CT + transducers for measuring systems, etc. Operating Principle HA Series The core placed around the current bus is provided with a secondary winding (N turn), in which electromagnetic induction caused by AC electricity to be detected (I) induces secondary current (I/N).Connecting a load resistor (RL) provides output in proportion to the current to be detected.
