Nitrogen Dioxide NO2 has similar coverage recommendations, and, in some cases should be mounted high to address hot exhaust from larger vehicles.

Mounting height should be in breathing range for CO (3 5 from floor).

The sensors are available in 4-20mA, RS-485 and Siemens FLN.

The Z Gard S sensor provides gas detection in specific areas throughout a garage. EIP recommends a 50 radius for coverage of each sensor.
