INSTALLATION OF CUT-IN ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCERS

For creation liquid flow measurement units on the pipelines of large diameter with application of the ultrasonic flowmeters specialists of JSC Energouchet have developed technology (procedure, set of tools and appliances) for the installation of cut-in electroacoustic transducers (CET) into the walls of pipelines. For the high-accuracy marking of the entrance/outlet points of acoustic channels on the surface of pipeline and carrying-out of the operations of drilling, technological adaptation PUVDD is used. This makes it is possible to perform work both on the circular pipelines and on the pipes with marked eccentricity. Works are carried out with bleeding (with the emptying of pipeline) or without bleeding from the pipeline, i.e., without the stop of the process of pumping liquid.
