LPR is a stand-alone single-lane PC-free access control device. The system, which connects only to a power supply, vehicle trigger and parking gate or barrier, serves as a vision-based sensor. It identifies the license plate number, compares to a database and automatically opens a gate for authorized vehicles. Advantages include improvement in customer service and security.
