| The Autoclave Thermocouple is manufactured from a fused FEP Teflon? wire construction. This construction was designed to reduce the "leakage path through the wire" often found in autoclave applications when traditional wire constructions are employed. Color-coded, insulated singles are bonded together in a proprietary process, eliminating the need for a conventional jacket. A molded connector eliminates errors associated with connector shorts and reverse readings. Every unit is tested for circuit integrity and correct polarity.
