Feature:
The Slide rheostat is made by magnesium wire which is special treated by oxidized insulation. The wire is dense wrapped on porcelain tube and constitutes the resistance components. Together with the metal protection bracket and the block key, the slide rheostat changes the resistance by moving the electric touching brush on the face of the wire, usually the types of the block key are hand push and hand sway.
Slide resistors are used in circuits to change voltage, electric current and replace variable resistor.
