When the Bureau of Reclamation needed a replacement current transformer for Hoover Dam, they called on the experts at Tinitron to make the replacement. The result was a new transformer made with modern materials that was a form-fit and functional equal to the one that was installed in the 1930's. Once the replacement was in place, they ordered a spare, and then some more for other projects.
