"Dry-type" transformers

V-TPED rectifiers are completed with up-to-date dry-type transformers with "NOMEX" type insulation.

They feature advanced winding security due to application of up-to-date insulation. The winding is not cast.
Insulation is inflammable; operating temperature is 250 .
Insulation is non-hygroscopic; no drying is required for transformer in plant conditions or upon delivery, as well as in operating conditions. Service life of insulation is estimated as 250 years. Unlike transformers with cast winding, the transformers with "NOMEX" insulation are serviceable. Special insulators that increase general transformer winding insulation level are used in transformers design.
