Solar Modules

Solar modules, constructed by laminating electrically interconnected solar cells under tempered glass, carry out the conversion. Solar cell and module technologies vary in cost and performance; the amount of energy that each produces being a function of the particular technology and the amount of light (insolation) available. A percentage of light energy falling onto a solar module is converted into direct current(DC)electricity for use at the place of generation or an inverter can convert the DC electricity into alternating current(AC)and feed it back to the electricity grid. Solar PV should not be confused with solar thermal technology used to heat water for buildings or swimming pools. They are fundamentally different technologies; Bluetech Solar is only involved in photovoltaics.
