It is a single chip, Low cost, Low Power EMV 2000 Level1 certified Interface Module (IFM). It manages the mechanical, electrical and communication interface with ISO 7816 1/2/3/4 compatible smart cards. The Connection with the host system is achieved through serial asynchronous link. The rate can be selected from 1200 bps to 115200 bps. Any existing Non-EMV payment terminal can be upgraded by integrating with this IFM into EMV Level1 certified one instantaneously
