FDA Public Health Advisory HFZ-510, December 28, 1993 warns against use of unsafe .080" pin connectors on electrodes and patient cables, and recommends replacement or modification with protected
pins. Plug converter into the 0.080 pin jack on existing equipment or solder on the circuit board. 1.5 mm DIN leads can now be attached to this older equipment.
