Chip Board

Chip Board or Particle Board is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood particles, such as wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even saw dust, and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded. Particle board is a type of fibreboard, a composite material, but it is made up of larger pieces of wood than medium-density fiberboard and hardboard.

Particle Board is cheaper, denser and more uniform than conventional wood and plywood and is substituted for them when appearance and strength are less important than cost. Particleboard's main selling point is its PRICE. However, it has several other significant advantages. One of these is its stability.This stability enables new design possibilities.

Standard Size : 8 x 4 (2440 mm x 1220 mm), 8 x 6 (244 mm x 1840mm), 9 x 6 (2750mm x 1840mm)

Thickness : 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, 25mm and 30mm

Grade : Standard Chip Board Grade Pre Laminated Chip Boards (MFC) are also available in various prints and finishes.

Applications : Modular Furniture, Partitioning, Paneling, and Furniture Components.
