Kiln Drying timber

Part of the sawn timber is air dried and ready for sale but the bulk proceeds to downstream operations as detail. In preparation for more finished uses, the timber is upgraded by having its moisture content reduce in kiln chambers. It is a measure of PESAMAs concern for quality that technical pre-dying is used so that proper control of moisture content can be achieved. PESAMA has pre-drying and kiln drying capabilities of 425 cu. metres and 850 cu. metres respectively per charge.
