Sand Stone

Sandstone is actually a sedimentary rock formed by theconsolidation and compaction of sand, but unlike limestone which isshell and bones, sandstone is most famous for its characteristic whichis held together by a natural cement, such as silica. Natural sandstoneis an extremely hard and tough material.
Sandstoneis typically the youngest of the quartz-based stones, with each stonehaving a different level of porosity, hardness and compressivestrength. Owing to their natural beauty, sandstones are used forinterior as well as exterior decoration including flooring, paving,cladding walls and floors.
