UPVC Doors & Windows Outline UPVC doors & windows is the fourth generation of doors & windows. The first generation is wooden window. The second one is steel window. The third one is Aluminium window. It's a kind of doors & windows which the main material is PVC resin. The other parts are various additives. The main material and additives are mixed together and then extruded into profile. After being cut and welded. They come into frames and sashes. With sealing material & hardware, the frames and sashes come into doors & windows. The profile is reinforced with steel inside the chamber, so it's called UPVC DOORS AND WINDOWS.This sort of product opened up by German in the end of 1950. It has a history of forty years. In developed countries its market share has growing bigger & bigger. Now in Germany market share of UPVC doors & windows is about 50 percent. In China the market share is 37 percent. The Performance of UPVC Doors & Windows The thermal conductivity of UPVC plastic is near to that of wood. Because UPVC Doors & Windows are assembled by multi chamber profile. The air closed in the chamber cannot flow and the thermal conductivity of air is far lower than that of wood. So UPVC doors & windows have much better heat insulation than wooden doors & windows. And there is no seam at the place where the sash reaches the frame and the glass reach the sash, the corner of UPVC doors & windows is welded together, not as the corner of aluminium and steel doors & window is joint together by screw & riverts. Thus it reduces the convection of air inside and outside the room. In other words, it has better heat insulation and is more energy saving than wooden, steel & aluminium doors & windows.UPVC doors & windows also have very good sound-insulation. Generously it can reduce Noise 25-40Db. UPVC doors & windows are Anti- corrosion, Anti moth, Fire resistant, good anti wind pressure performance. The sea wind with salt in it corrodes wooden window, aluminium alloy and steel window greatly. These sorts of window will be corroded in few years, Thus their anti-wind-pressure performance is bad when typhoon invades. The anti wind pressure performance in UPVC doors & windows reaches 3500 Pa/m 2 . It's pretty safe to use UPVC doors & windows. Other Advantages of UPVC doors & windows Beautiful out looking, easy to clean, easy to install, it can be made into various shapes. Usually the profile is white. Because white has the best anti-aging performance. The service life of it can be up to 30-50 years. The corner welding strength is above 3000N.
