Agarose (Molecular Biology Grade) is used for the electrophoretic separation of nucleic acids. Agarose is free from DNase and RNase activities. It's a purified linear galactan hydrocolloid isolated from agar or agar bearing marine algae. It offers high gel-strength, good clarity and excellent value. Ideal for the separation of small DNA fragments differing in size by as little as 2%. Available in powder form.
