B.            As a tepid for use where only the simplest equipment is available.  Under these conditions the salts is operated at a lower temperature and current density so that in many countries heating is not required.  The use of a lower current density does however mean that plating times need to be extended if deposits of reasonable thickness are to be obtained.

Zonax is a sulphate catalyst type salts for bright chromium plating.  The Salt is less corrosive in its effect upon the plating equipment than the high speed types of solution.  This Salts enable a chrome solution to be prepared which has a high tolerance to build-up of heavy metal oxides, such as trivalent chromium, iron, copper and nickel, and may be used in the following ways:
