By comparison, the gasoline-powered X5 with theV-8 gets to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds and gets 14 mpg in town and 19 out onthe road. The BMW X5 carries overwith minimal changes for 2009. The naming convention changes to putmore emphasis on xDrive and to differentiate performance levels, withnew badging on the front doors. A space saver spare wheel and tire isnow optional instead of standard on both trims, the rear auto-levelingair suspension is no longer standard on the xDrive48i, and optionpackages have been restructured.
