Thuraya/GSM GPRS Combo (see figure) is a vehicle tracking unit enables that work in both communication media as Thuraya or GSM/GPRS mode. Following modes are available with the system.
Using SVTS with Thuraya/ Combo unit, GSM/GPRS and Thuraya can be employed back to back, monitoring each other. The system will be so tuned that whenever GSM/GPRS network is unavailable, SVTS will switch to Thuraya network then back, as the GSM coverage achieved.
