The hasbeen upgraded this year with a short-stroke engine. Ktm claims that theKTM 400 EXC Dirt Bike will be the best all-round dirt bike in its rangewith its combination of performance of a motocross competition bikewith the ride-ability and all-day usability of an enduro. The motoralso got new titanium valves, a magnesium cylinder-head cover and a newhot-start system, which should make it easier to restart the bike aftera fall. The Kawasaki KX450F-style speed holes will be a kick forperformance too.
