The basic ingredients comprise three commonly occurring materials:
Chlorine - derived from Common Rock salt
Ethylene - Crude oil
Hydrogen: Natural gas
The basic material is then blended into a compound to make it suitable for use as a window frame material.
Each manufacturer blends compounds to their own formulation, adding for example :polymer, stabilizers, pigment and lubricants to arrive at the raw material needed to extrude quality u PVC profiles for high performance window fabrication.
