Optical Brightener

Optical Brightener Masterbatches are added in polymers to reduce yellowing, improved whiteness, and to enhance the brightness of a product. The objectives of Calco Polychems OB Masterbatch are:

• Improvement of initial color of plastics which are inherently often slightly yellowish
• Production of brilliant white end use articles
• Increase of the brilliancy of colored and white pigment articles

This optical brightening masterbatch works with low levels from 0.1 4%. At high loading a blue tinge is seen on the film. This masterbatch contains primary and secondary antioxidants.
