Fileccin master batches contain micronised mineral calcium carbonate finely dispersed in polyolefin carrier. The calcium carbonate used has been selected for its exceptional characteristics: -
exceptionally low hardness (1.5 on the MOHS scale) due to its amorphous/microcrystalline structure. This means unusually low abrasively, therefore minimum plasticating screw and barrel wear. - Very
good whiteness 93% (MgO=100)
