Suction roll noise is often a sign of inefficient operation. Noise often results from the residual vacuum in the suction roll shell being released too quickly. Coldwater can custom engineer silencer shapes to create a more gradual pressure change. Reductions of over 15db have been achieved. Many installations in service today.
