In early 1999, MAN Commercial Vehicle Group adopted recirculation system(EGR) for cooling discharge gas as a part of engine strategy. As the result of persistent development, EGR technology became basis conforming to Euro 4 discharge gas limit standard of MAN. Euro 4 became dutiful standards for newly registered cars in EU from the fall of 2006, and domestically, it has been applied from January, 2008 strengthening standard for environment.
